foot of mt. Haleakala the makena beach and golf Resort is truly a

hotel is built around an asian meditation garden with stone paths
quiet corners for contemplation waterfalls and streams swarming

jr. The Makena north course opened in 1993 to rave reviews. The
makena course feels more like a nature walk than a Golf course with
captivating mountain views of Haleakala crater and sweeping views
of the blue Pacific ocean. Hawaiian rock walls remain where they
were found and natural gullies and stream beds are Left intact.
Activities range from sand castle building swimming Hawaiian
arts and crafts treasure scavenger hunts Treasure box making and
much more. Guests can play shuffleboard volleyball or even relax at
the beach or poolside in one of our cabanas. We also have an array
of activities that are offered through our beach concierge Staff.
